Student Visas
A Tier 4 Student Visa allows non-EEA nationals to study in the UK. You must have already got an offer to study from an educational facility in the UK, such as a university, college or school. If you are looking to study in the UK for longer than 6 months, a UK Student Visa is necessary. If the application is required for somebody under the age of 17, you will be required to fill out a Tier 4 Child Student Visa application.
Once the full length of the course is met, students are normally allowed to remain in the UK for a short period of time afterwards. They will be required to leave the UK once this preluding period is over unless they have arranged for an extension or they have chosen a different immigration pathway. A Student Visa allows a student to bring their partner or children with them for the duration of the study period.
Applicants can apply for a Student Visa when they have been received confirmation of acceptance to study from their chosen institution. Categories of UK student visa
If the applicant is studying a longer full-time degree course, they must check that their desired university holds a 4 Tier Sponsor License.
Tier 4 Child Student Visa: will allow a child between the age of 4-17 to study in the UK for at least 6 months. If the child is 16 or 17, they may apply either for a Child Student Visa or the regular Student Visa. Either visa will allow Non-EEA nationals to study in the UK so long as they have already got an offer to study from an educational facility in the UK.
Tier 4 General Student Visa: students aged 16 or above that want to study in the United Kingdom may apply for a Tier 4 General Student Visa. This visa lasts for 6 months or however long the course duration is. Applicants can extend the date if they wish to further study or work in the United Kingdom.
Child Student Visa
If the application is required for somebody under the age of 17 wishing to study in the United Kingdom, you will need a Tier 4 Child Student Visa, which will allow a child between the age of 4-17 to study in the UK for at least 6 months. If the child is 16 or 17, they may apply either for a Child Student Visa or the regular Student Visa. Either visa will allow Non-EEA nationals to study in the UK so long as they have already got an offer to study from an educational facility in the UK.

Requirements:
Applicants must have proof they have been accepted by a university, college or school and have enough resources to pay study fees, maintenance and accommodation.
In order to obtain a UK Student Visitor Visa, you must give details of your existing and previous passport numbers or other valid travel identification. Other documentation you may need to provide is not limited; you may bring as much supporting documentation to help your chances such as:
- Passport or other travel certificates
- Travel documents detailing the dates which you are travelling
- Details of previous international travel and immigration history.
- Bank statements to prove you have sufficient funds
- An estimation for how much your visit will cost
- Letters of acceptance from the university.

If any of these documents are in a language other than English or Welsh, you will need to provide a professionally translated copy alongside the original documents.
